这时看到二号是小GB(大GB这个月好像不怎出来,我弟就是在他那过的),胖嘟嘟的,下巴底下有一片胡子,好像坐在那。
M:nice to meet you! V: Hello! (很有笑容) Why do you come here? M: I am coming for F1 student visa. (我始终微笑,因为心里也高兴) Here’re my admission letter and offer letter. V: (接过看)。 M: I have a resume. Would you like it? V: Ok. M: Oh, here my name card and business card. What university will you go to? M: &(*^(* V: *^*^(*(重复了校名)? M:Yeah。 V:(看着电脑笑说)How many times you’ve come here? M: Frankly speaking, it is the 8th time. (smiled too) V: (忍不住笑了) The 8th time. V: How did you know this school? M: Professor Liu, the previous head of my department, introduced it to me when I was and undergraduate student. He visited America several times. He went some of the American schools. V: How many schools have you applied to? M: Late last year, five. V: Hm. How long will you study? M: 24 months. V: For the Master’s degree? M: Yeah. V: Have you got a B’s degree? M: I got my bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering at &^( University in year 2000. I will major in Electrical Engineering. Americans seldom call it Electronic Engineering. They are the same. V: I understand. M: I work for O*&(*& since 2000. My duty is *(&(&)(. I find that the work situation sometime is too hard. The communications style should be changed. So I would like to dedicate in that. V: So what is your plan? M: I will go on for a PhD. I applied for PhD. But according to the university’s policy, the I20 tells me to get a master’s degree first. If I this plan would change, after the master’s degree I will come back to work for a communications company. V: (还是笑着说) How will you pay for the study? M: Scholarship and my personal funds. It is GEM scholarship. It will cover the out-of-state portion of tuition and fees. V: (笑了一下)Hem. (看着I20) Who is (*&(&? M: My brother-in-law. (去年就由他和大姐资助我) Because he has much more money, it is convenient to get the I20 by him. I have sufficient personal savings. V: Is he in America? M: Yes. Several year ago my sister and he immigrated to America, via Family Based Immigrant Visa. V: (再看ds表) Are your parents in America too? M: No. My dad is Hong Kong permanent resident. He works in Hong Kong. My Mother has B2 in America. 探亲,visiting. She got the visa in March. You can check the ds158. V: I see. M: (反正他都知道我家有不少人在美国了) My twin brother got his F1 student visa last month. He left for America early this month. V: Oh, twin brother. So he is a student there? (看着158) M: yeah. V: Did you apply to Universities in China for graduate study? M: Yeah. All these years I am trying. In 2000 before graduation I gave up the chance to pursue graduate study in my previous university, because I hoped to go to much better schools. V:Is there any other family member in China? M: My elder sister, the second sister, lives in Guangdong. V: Hm. Do you always live in Guangzhou. M: No. I was born in Guangdong. But in 1996 I entered university here. I remain here. V:你家有那么多人在美国,你有very strong tie in America。你不能convince我你会回来.&%^(*^&)(**_) M: But why my twin brother got the visa? We just had the same situation. V: I don’t know. I believe myself. I believe my plan. (我确实没有移民倾向,内心似乎被严重曲解了,有很多话都不说了) So I came here. Never surrender! V: (笑了一下) Never surrender. M:(快速收拾)Anyway, thank you! V: (声音不高) Thank you.
