8：20到达梅陇镇广场。9：40被允许上8楼签证处。整个签证大厅大概200—300平方米, 明亮舒适. 每个白色的签证窗口上挂了两块黄色的牌子, 一块是美国白宫的照片, 一块上写着窗口的号码. 1-3号窗是中国工作人员预审材料, 4-10是签证窗口, 11号是领签证的窗口. 透过4-10号窗, 我终于看到了传说中的大glassboy(9), 小glassboy(4), JFGG(10), JFMM(6)和胖女人(7), 他们正在认真地工作着. JFMM美丽动人, 两个右手指缠绕着白色纱布, 在窗另一边的房间里透出的灯光的衬映下, 看起来像一只受伤的小天鹅. 我在想: 让她坐在这个把握千万拥有美国梦的中国人的命运的签证窗口, 也真够让那些长得又胖又丑的美国人争脸的.
12：00才轮到面谈。
vo: How are you? (主动和我打招呼)
me: Oh, fine, thank you.
vo: So, you are going to study in xxx?
me: xxx? No, it is yyyyy.
vo: Oh, sorry, yyyyy.
vo: What are you doing?
me: I am working in xxx. I have been there for more than x years.
vo: What is your company doing?
me: Actually we are a international business company. We export...
vo: Oh, what products? Give some examples.
me: AH...such as......
vo: Where are you going to study?
me: xxx state.
vo: What will you study there?
me: MBA.
vo: Why do you want to go to United States to study business? Why do you choose yyyyy school?
me: US has stongest economy and best business schools in the world. I choose yyyyy school because....
vo: There are also very good business schools in China.
me: No, I don't think so. US has best B-schools in the world.(为了避免在比较中美商学院的问题上纠缠, 我把话题引向了欧洲)There are also good schools in some European countries, (此时果然打断我问:Did you apply for any European schools?) but there is no good business school in China.
me: Yes, I applied for XXX in UK and XXX in France.
vo: Do you have your financial plan？
Me: yes, I have a financial status list. Would like to see it? 边说边抽出那张list(我把所有的存款做了一个详细的list在一张cover page 上)和附着的银行存款证明。
Vo: How much will be the total cost of your whole study?
Me: more than 6xdollars.
Me: 这时候我又抽出收入证明给他。This is my income certificate.
Vo: You have a very high salary.
Me: yes, actually we are exporting……and I am responsible for….You know,it is a very special business and we got high profit from the business. So, my salary is also very high.
Vo: 看了一下我的list(那儿共列出了10xdollars.), 点着头还给了我。
Me: I think I have enough money to pay for the study. Actually, much more than enough.我不失时机地吹了一下。
Vo: yes, yes. Do you have your resume?
Me: yes.(拿出给他)
Vo: You are doing XX?
Me: yes.
Vo: to where do sale your products?
Me: ………..
Vo: Do you interested in this business?
Me: yes, it is interesting.
Vo: will you come back to continue this business after your MBA study?
Me: No. Actually I have a family business, producing….My father is becoming old and I will come back to take his position to be in charge of this company after I my MBA study. My father’s company also signed an employment contract with me, agreeing me to have a management position in this company after my graduation. 说着我把营业执照copy，父子关系证明和support letters 递给VO。
Vo: Why will you come back? 他明显搞我脑子。一向是金钱至上的价值观的美国人会不明白这问题的答案吗？-----我不刚告他了吗？
Me: Why?! It is MY money, MY property. I have to come back to take care of my property! 我盯着他，挥舞着双手有点象做演讲。----当然也没有太神情激昂，还是带一点礼貌的微笑。
Vo似乎有点信服了，低头去看资料。
我想趁机strengthen 一下， 说：I also have a house in China. Would you like to see….
Vo: No. (抬起头来) I want to tell you a good news and a bad news. The good news is you are qualified for the visa, the bad news is I can not check out your SEVIS information in my computer.
Me: So, what shall I do then?
Vo: I will check again these afternoon or tomorrow. We will inform you.
Me: How will you inform me? By telephone? Which telephone number?
Vo抽出我的DS-156表， 让我指给他看。
Me: Mobile phone please.
Vo: OK. 然后又低头整理资料。
Me: Finish?
Vo: （笑）Finish.
Me: （笑）Thank you。
离开柜台, 回到我原来的位置上。原来邻座等待的几个人都看着我，想从我的表情上捕捉点什么。我看着他们茫然的神态，想给他们打点气，就握了一下拳，轻轻地说了一个字：“过！”。 果然大家都振奋了一下。
下午，领事馆打电话来说还查不到我的信息，让我和学校确认一下是否已入SEVIS系统。当晚我就EMAIL给学校。
6月27日星期五，US VISA打在了我的护照上了。
整个interview大概有6-8分钟, 看起来象一场很随意的交谈. 但实际上VO也就是围绕4个问题来CHECK: 1.学校, 2. 工作, 3. 有钱吗? 4. 会回来吗? 整个签证过程VO态度温和,挺礼貌的. 应该说体现了美国人公平效率, 按原则办事的风格. 有的人签证是多少抱有一点求着签证官的心态， 这是一种典型的中国式办事心态。美国签证官更愿意和不卑不亢的educated applicants交谈----其实谁都愿意和自己style & level 相当的人谈话。只要你出示足够firm并真实的证据证明：1.你有能力支付在美的一切费用；2.你有强烈的客观联系表明你会回国，签证官没有理由拒你.
