Chinese tourists now can realize their dream to travel to European countries starting September 1st!

A total of 29 European countries are expected to receive approved destination status from the Chinese government, which includes 24 EU member countries minus Britain, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Romania and Liechtenstein.

Travel agencies in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will organize the first group tours to Europe.

Moreover, the tour will target Western Europe in the first stage.

It is reported that the European tour will cost more than 10 thousand yuan or some 1,200 US dollars.

Honesty is one of the most significant lessons of education!

From September this year, 170 thousand primary and middle school students in Chaoyang District of Beijing, will have a new course of "honesty and credibility" in school.

The district will be the first place in China to make the education of honesty a part of the formal curriculum.

The textbook, compiled last year, has three volumes which will meet the needs of different ages of students.

One of the volunms "Honesty is in my heart", prepared for lower grades of primary schools, has 18 articles and illustrates with cartoon pictures.

China now has 367 million people under 18 years old.

A new edition of the Chinese marriage certificate will come into effect nationwide on Thursday.

The new marriage and divorce certificates are purplish red in colour, in contrast to the red and green used respectively in the past.

The change is intended to reflect equal treatment towards both married and divorced people.

The peony, the national flower of China, printed inside the cover, is the main design feature. A double "Happiness" character watermark is also included as an anti-forgery measure.
