Version 100 (G): Many companies provide high salaries, good health care and other incentives to the staff. what do you think about it? How does a company properly make use of the above policies to please the staff to work?
(课堂习作作者:廖明--广州仲恺72期周末班学员) In order to attract more people, especially the high-qualified people, now many companies provide incentives such as high salaries and good health care to their staff, these companies believe they can stimulate their staff to work hard by this way. In my opinion, there are advantages and disadvantages.
On one hand, there are at least two merits. First, those staff in a company with ideal welfare system can concentrate on their work and do great contribution to their company, because they needn't worry about their life, that means they can work more efficiently. I have a deep feeling on this. The situation in my company is absolutely different now, just due to the new policy that our boss has enforced such a practice. Second, it is helpful for our country's economic development. As people have high salaries and perfect health care system, they would like to spend more money on purchasing goods. Consequently, it promotes market prosperity and do help to the national economic growth..
On the other hand, there are also some defects. The most obvious defect is that some staff may over depend on this policy, some new problems would occur, such as lacking motivation and pressure. At the same time, It is a high financial burden for the company, so it may even effect the company's investment projects and long-time development.
From the above discussion, we can see that there are positive and negative effects. So it is important for a company to make good use of the policies. I suggest a company should divide the salaries into two parts: basic salaries plus bonus (or commission): how much an employee can get depends on his performances and contribution. I believe only in this way, can a company attract the real talented people to work with pleasure and create the biggest profits for the employer. (由广州仲恺雅思培训中心赖劲松老师提供)
